Program Description

Learn about knowledge and understanding of how to serve wine, understanding all equipment need to prepare and how to actually do it with different kind of wine type

Program Goal

The purpose of this unit is to assess candidates' fundamental knowledge and understanding of how to pair wine and food. It offers a step-by-step journey for the taste buds, allowing candidates to experience the flavor development resulting from these combinations.

Program Outcome

The candidate will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the following:
· Identification of different styles of wines
· Understanding how the style of wines influences basic flavors
· Understanding how the style of wines influences the flavors of four different sauces
· Understanding how the style of wines influences the pairing when protein is introduced
· Comprehension of the concept of pairing based on the body of wine and food
